Novell - problema con cliente novell

He instalado el servidor novell netware 5 y quiero crear un cliente sobre windows xp servipack 2. Pero tengo problemas porque cuando lo tengo instalado aparentemente funciona bien y desde el servidor se pueden enviar mensajes al cliente (cons send) y se puede hacer ping e incluso en el entorno de red novell puedo ver el servidor y los archivos internos. El problema esta en que no puedo ver desde mi pc las los volumenes que se comparten por defecto y si entro por el arbol o por el contexto puede ver los archivos pero no puedo ejecutarlos porque no encuentra la ruta.

Y ya hiciste el mapeo en el script de inicio?

Pues seguramente no lo haya hecho porque la verdad es que no se que es lo del mapeo.

Si es lo de iniciar windows con los datos del servidor(arbol,contexto,servidor, con su contraseña correspondiente) eso si lo hago y no me da problemas porque inicia sesion. Si es otra cosa te agradecería enormemente que me dijeras como podría hacerlo para ver si ese es el problema.
