General Information (Top)

The eDeveloper for iSeries SQL Client Version 9.4 SP7 –0.9 lets you access DB2/400 SQL tables and OS/400 functions such as CL/RPG/COBOL programs, CL commands, Data Area, and other iSeries objects.

Prerequisites (Top)

• The eDeveloper for iSeries ISAM Client Version 9.4 SP7– 0.9
• The iSeries Host Library (MAGIC400 library)

Supplied Module (Top)

Main Product – This iSeries SQL Client version provides the MGDB400.DLL file that allows access to the DB2/400 SQL tables and OS/400 functions.

Configuration (Top)

Add the CONNECTDLL=MGEAC32.DLL keyword to the DBMS property.

Run the following command in the iSeries command line:

UPDPGM PGM(MAGIC400/EASYCOM) MODULE(MAGIC400/SQL2)

System Requirements (Top)

• OS/400 V4R4 and above
• TCP/IP communication protocol.
