instalar matlab en suse 10.0

Hola buenas estoy intentando instalar el matlab 7.1 en mi suse 10.0 y no soy capaz, consigo instalarlo, eso si pero a la hora de ejecutarlo me sale el siguiente error:

Necesito el matlab para hacer el proyecto fin de carrera y estoy un poco desesperado si alguien me pudiera ayudar se lo agradeceria mucho, tengo la maquina virtual instalada q es lo que parece que pudiera pasar..
