Tomcat - NO USAR IP SINO UN NOMBER

TENGO UNA APLICACION CON TOMCAT Y APACHE...Y CUANDO MIS USUARIOS ACCESAN A ESTA APLICACION, DEBEN ESCRIBIR EN EL INTERNET EXPLORER LA DIRECCION IP Y EL PEUSTO (HTTP://10.10.10.10:9090/INDEX.JSP)...QUIERO EREEMPLAZAR ESTO X UN NOMBRE X EJEMPLO HTTP://DESARROLLO/index.jsp.......como hago esto con el TOMCAT

En el archivo server.xml qe esta dentro de Tomcat_home/conf/server.xml tienes que configurar el Host
<Host name="localhost" appBase="webapps"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true"
xmlValidation="false" xmlNamespaceAware="false">

En lugar de "localhost" le pones el nombre que quieres, ahi uedes accear como http://nombre:num_puerto/index.jsp
