NECESITO SABER LA LONGITUD EN TWIPS DE UNA CADENA DE TEXTO CUYA FUENTE ES TIMES NEW ROMAN ,10, NEGRITA. ¿COMO PUEDO HACER LA CONVERSION ENTRE LA LONGITUD DEL TEXTO Y SU TAMAÑO EN TWIPS?

Si lo tienes en un Label con la propiedad AutoSize en True, entonces con el Width y el Height del Label lo multiplicas por las propiedades Screen.TwipsPerPixelX y Screen.TwipsPerPixelY

El problema está en que el texto no está en un label sino en un rptlabel de un dataReport. necesito saber cual es la longitud en twips de un texto cuya fuente es negrita Times New Roman 10 para redimensionar el rptlabel. la propiedad CanGrow no me sirve porque crece en vertical y yo quiero que crezca en horizontal

Si el texto es variable y ya lo tienes, lo colocas en un Label invisible de un Form y haces el cálculo que te mencioné y ese número luego lo fijas para el rptLabel.
