Visual Basic - ¿Crystal & DataREPORT?

Hola:

Tengo un problema, estoy haciendo un programa que gestiona BD. Necesito imprimir resultados y utilizo DataEnvironment junto a DataReport. Sin embargo tengo algunos problemas y veo que la gente del foro habla de Crystal report. Tengo la version 6.0 Empresarial y no encuentro Crystal Report ¿Cómo puedo utilizarlo? ¿Que diferencia existe entre DataReport y CrystalReport?. Gracias

Pero esta algo oculto, revisa otros mensajes anteriores de los foros de VB por alli explicaban en que subdirectorio se halla el Crystal para instalarlo.

Crystal es de una tercera compañia no de microsoft y lo regalan con VB, Crystal es mas poderoso que DataReports y es mas facil de usar segun yo, ahora ya van por la version 8, mientras que el datareport de Microsoft apenas es la primera entrega, Datareport esta muy orientado a objetos de modo que puedes accesar a los campos de tu reporte desde la aplicacion.

en la pagina de Harvery Triana hay una seccion en el frame izquierdo "programando el datareport" es un reporteador generico muy bueno para imprimir cualquier grid.

in Yahoo. You may find stuff more related to your needs if you browse on over there.
I can´t really offer specific advice, because the version of CR I use is tied to my database app and doesn´t have the full functionality of CR Professional.
If you browse you´ll notice a lot of companies make money telling people how to use CR (that´s how I learned). Once you work out how to get data into the thing - which can be the biggest hurdle - just experiment. The various wizards should point you in the right direction.
