Windows 95/98 - Problema con este archivo nwlink.vxd

Al iniciar windows tengo estos dos mensajes que me han causado problemas. Estos son:

1. Diskett dive failure.

2. Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application.

The Wind.. registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file, but the device file, but the device file no longer exists.

If you delete this device file this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using it uninstall or setup program.

If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that applicationto replace the missing file.

Entonces, para que me puede servir este archivo?? Donde lo puedo conseguir como afectaria el rendimiento del mi pC.

no mencionaste tu Windows, ese archivo debe estar colocado en el C:\windows\system, solo tienes que copiarlo de otra máquina con tu mismo sistema y ponerlo allí, sobre el 1er problema es algo que ignoro posible respuesta
