Hola a Todos.

Ya he leido montones de posteos en distintos medios, howtos, FAQs ... etc. donde se trataba este tema, pero sigo sin encontrar solucion. A ver si alguien puede arrojar alguna luz ( q no sea un fosforo por favor).

He configurado un servidor Samba como reemplazo de un file server Windows 2000 Server Ed.

Resulta que al probar los clientes ... los clientes Windows 2000 y XP entran perfecto ... pero los 98 y Me ......... zassssss. No se pueden logear en el servidor para explorarlo y conectarse a un recurso compartido.

Es sabido que existen problemas en el encriptado de contraseñas por parte de win 98, ME ...
He probado todo:

EnablePlainTextPassword .... y demas configuraciones .... sigue sin andar, transcribo una copia de smb.conf.
