Android - Conexión bluetooth en una app android

Hola, espero que la persona que me lea se encuentre muy bien.
Estoy realizando una aplicación para android en donde se conecta a un dispositivo especifico que envia datos solo cuando el usuario los envie, o sea no envia datos constantemente pero al establecer la conexión me aparece el error bt socket closed, read return -1 y no he podido encontrar la forma de arreglarlo. Quisiera saber si alguien me puede ayudar a corregir el error. Muchas gracias
