CAPÍTULO 1

Introducción

phpMyAdmin puede administrar un servidor MySQL entero (necesita un superusuario) o una base de datos sencilla.
Para realizar esto último, es necesario tener un usuario MySQL debidamente configurado que pueda leer o escribir
solamente en la base de datos deseada. Para ello, Ud. debe buscar en la sección apropiada del manual de MySQL.

1.1 Funcionalidades incluídas

En la actualidad, phpMyAdmin puede:

visualizar y borrar bases de datos, tablas, vistas, campos e índices
