C/Visual C - conflicting types for ‘ext2fs_open’

estoy trabajando bajo openSuse, y trato de crear una aplicacion que lea informacion del superbloque, usando libext2fs (libreria para el manejo de el sistema de archivos ext2), y bueno cada vez que trato de implementar esta funcion me sale este error :(
como lo arreglo?
